I noticed one or two of the Football League managers are already getting the boot in the fickle world of football management I shouldn't be surprised but so early in the season seems a bit silly to me.

Anyway got me to thinking how long before a Premiership manager gets the boot and who will it be?

Villa have had a poor start and Saints are not doing to well, or QPR but after two games who can be sure whether your job is safe or not. Just who do we think it will be then who is first to go?

Sam Allardyce could under threat at West Ham if he doesn't do well and they fancy taking Redknapp back.

Lambert, Hughes and Hughton could be others under threat in due course.

Wenger shouldn't be as secure as he is either.

Personally I think Lambert may be the one or Sparky. Toss up between those two perhaps.

Just out of interest just how safe do you think Rodgers is then?

I think he is solid as a rock.

Hmmm, I'm just not sure yet. I guess I'm still sat on the fence.

I think we will do relatively well this season and he will be here in a year's time.

On a Sunderland forum they are claiming that A Betfred spokesman has just admitted on Talksport that they've had good money from people usually in the know for Harry Redknapp to be manager of a London club in the Premier League by 1st Sept.

? ?

You've got to wonder about AVB. Spurs shot themselves in the foot when they got rid of Redknapp but they'll make it even worse if they change again so soon.
QPR's signings had better start gelling soon otherwise we could be saying goodbye to Hughes.

Unfortunately we're moving across to the Latin way of ... eight bad games and out, bye-bye. Take a look at the English managers arranged in order of length of service - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_English_Football_League_managers - and you see that only a dozen or so out of 92 make it past the three year mark! Incredible, when if there existed the same sort of record from, let's say, 1960 you'd find that number 12 on list NOW would only be number 60 THEN !!!

Agreed and quick fixes, like politicians do, instead of planning for a generation ...
