Everton boss Ronald Koeman has admitted that midfielder Ross Barkley could stay with the club.
The Dutchman had said that he was “100%” sure that the England international would be leaving Goodison Park earlier this Summer.
But he has now said that interest has not been sufficient for the twenty-three year to make a departure from the Merseyside club.
“If there’s no interest he will be part of the team.” he said.
“He is training with Everton, he is part of the team and training in a good way.” he finished.
Spurs are said to be interested in signing the twenty-three year old, but they have not so far matched Everton’s £50m asking price.
