Manchester City could make a move to sign Juventus defender Dani Alves.
Manager Pep Guardiola is reported to be interested in reuniting with the Brazilian after letting Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna leave the Etihad this Summer.
Alves would reportedly cost just £5m should the Spaniard decide to try and secure his signature in the coming weeks.
City have been strongly linked with an offer for England international Kyle Walker, but Spurs are digging in their heels over any deal.
Guardiola was in charge at the Nou Camp when Barcelona signed Alves from Sevilla back in 2008 in a deal worth around £25m.
The pair won three La Liga titles, two Spanish Cups and two Champions Leagues together prior to Guardiola’s exit to German giants Bayern Munich.
They will be hoping for a repeat of that success at City if the move goes through.
